Offended anyone?

Some images in the news had eerie similarity to historic photographs of Kristallnacht in Germany, “this business is German-owned” they would write on the window.
So, let’s say it helps, and your business is not looted, but the next door is busted. How are you going to look that guy in the eye, when he comes back, and you drew this line of separation?

Mr. Floyd’s brother has asked people to stop rioting. He says Floyd was a gentle person and would never condone the violence. The family is asking everyone to let the justice system work.

Does anyone know of a defense fund (gofundme or something) set up for the people who had to defend themselves during this and got arrested? There’s one set up for the protesters/rioters/looters so why not for folks trying to defend themselves…? If there is please let me know and I’ll donate, if not I’m working to try and set something up.

Looting, burglary and strong arm robbery is also illegal however in a state where the safety and well being of law abiding citizens is priority then “stand with guns on top of their family stores” should be a no brainer rather than the stupidity of “illegal”. Those Korean store owners are heroes but in the State of Fruits, Nuts, Flakes and Fairies these hard working law abiding Americans have been classified as criminals.

So tell me what’s so illegal about trying to defend your home, business or livelihood from a bunch of rabid animals bent on destroying everything you own and possibly taking your life in the process???

You’re exactly correct. Floyd had significant health issues and was under the influence of illegal drugs which ultimately caused his untimely death. The officer’s knee to the neck may have contribute to and exacerbated his poor health condition but it did not CAUSE his death.
The autopsy report performed by the county clearly ruled that asphyxiation was not the cause of death and there’s no doubt the second autopsy performed by the feds will validate the first.

I would have to agree the officer would be cleared of strangulating Floyd to death based on the cause of death but he still contributed to it. Not sure what MPD’s use of force regulations for the criteria of pinning a suspect’s neck with your knee.

However in the scope of the entire incident, George Floyd also contributed to his own death as well. If he would have returned the cigarettes to the store employees who asked for them back there’s very little chance the store employees would have called 911 for assistance. Also if Floyd would have submitted to the officer’s authority rather than becoming uncooperative and refusing to be placed in the back seat of the police unit, he would still be alive today. Sure there are all kinds of unknowns still needed to be discovered by a thorough investigation but one fact remains “George Floyd Also contributed to his own Death”.

Please keep us posted on what you find or get started.
I would happily donate to such a cause…(if for no other reason than I may be one that needs it )

That is a standard protocol of their race baiting attorney, Benjamin Crump.
It is an inclusion to the family’s civil lawsuit against the Officer, the PD and the Policmans Union (who will pay for the defense of all of the Officers charged).

They do that in a highly covered media event to show they do not condone any of the illegal activities…it makes them appear to “distance themselves” from the criminals.
Crump learned this the hard way in Ferguson MO with the Michael Brown family…who couldn’t keep their mouths shut and publicly joined in on the rioting and burning of businesses. They were so bad…they even assaulted each other (His Momma beat the crap out of his Grandma who raised him over the money made thru Hands Up Don’t Shoot t-shirt sales with Michael Browns picture!
The civil court jury refused to grant the millions Crump sought for the family’s “loss” stating the family was part of the instigators and the Mother only got a $75,000 settlement.

It would be a better world if we could trust without question every word that comes out of the mouth of an elected or appointed official, but since that’s not possible, I’m going to play devil’s advocate for a minute. As far as I know, the Coroner’s report contains nothing less than complete honesty, but after reading the report earlier today, my first thought was that the Coroner is on the city’s payroll, and those city officials in authority over the Coroner know beyond doubt that it’s in the best interest of the city if the man’s death didn’t come at the hands of a city employee. Considering the inevitable lawsuits the city will face in the wake of the death, it’s not outside the realm of possibility that the Coroner’s superiors could have exerted influence to protect the city’s budgetary interests. Again, this was just my gut instinct after reading the press release and I’m not making accusations, just considering a possibility based on my lack of complete faith in big brother.

And that WILL BE the Floyd Family attorney, Crumps stance…BUT now that there is the Feds involved in the investigation…there WILL BE a third autopsy performed…at the Federal level.
And with the city and their “payrolled” coroner KNOWING THIS BEFORE their released autopsy findings…it is HIGHLY UNLIKELY they would falsify the results since they knew there would be another outside 3rd party autopsy

Everyone else is willing to shirk their duties, why not the coroner?

I haven’t read the findings, but it was reported that the MN coroner said he didn’t die of asphyxiation, while the independent coroner found that Mr. Floyd died from lack of oxygen to the brain. A thought: they can both be correct. As the police said on the scene, if you can say “I can’t breathe,” then you are breathing. But if you restrict circulation through a neck artery, you can quickly knock out a person, give them brain damage, or even kill them. That’s why most police departments stopped teaching neck holds; they’re quick and effective, but dangerous.

I agree…to a point.
The fact that Floyd was talking, yelling, screaming proves he was getting oxygen…right up until his heart gave out from the now reported high level of Meth and Fentenyl (not crack cocain like initially reported) in his blood system. Even if his blood flow was being cut off to the brain (asphyxiation)…it would have taken close to 2 minutes of solid cut off for him to first black out of which he would have immediately gone limp…then a continued another minute to have killed him.
The video shows he was reacting, struggling with the officers restraining him and yelling at them right up to the point he went limp (at 7:35 of the video playback). The Officers release their hold just 8 seconds later at 7:43 of the video playback and one of the Officers tries to get a response to no avail. They then (unclear which Officer) radioed for EMT response.

Which video is this?

The one I’ve seen, is just over 10mins long and taken by one of the crowd, no cuts or edits. You can only see Floyd, the officer with a knee on neck, and an asian officer working crowd control. If there are other cops on Floyd, you cant see them from this angle as their likely location (inferred from a shorter video taken across the street) would have them hidden behind the vehicle.

If you have video of a different angle that shows the police checking on him, I would personally love to see it. It would certainly paint the situation in a different light (for me at least)

The video that I’ve seen… It starts with Floyd on the ground and the officer’s knee on his neck already. Floyd complains breathing, pain, and asks them to get off his neck for about 3mins. Around 3:30mins he starts moaning (sounds like agonal breathing). Around 4mins Floyd is no longer responsive. No movement, no noises, no nothing. He is at a minimum unconscious, but I’m pretty sure he’s dead at this point. The officer continued to keep his knee on Floyd’s neck for an additional 6 mins (not mere seconds) without ever checking on him. The EMTs show up at the end of the video around the 10min mark and promptly roll him over and load him into the ambulance.

Its this one Harvey!
But this particular one is altered by CNN (go figure)…I’ll keep looking for the one with sound and time line underneath…I want to say it was BBC website I watched it late last night.
My adult son and I kept watching it over and over checking the times…at what time you can no longer see Floyd struggle and yelling to the time stamp the Officers all unhandle Floyd and one of the Officers begins shaking him for a response (the video ends shortly after you hear a dispatcher confirming EMT inroute.

Good point, and one that didn’t enter into my my instinctual reaction. I was glad to learn they had come into the investigation. Hopefully, with so many involved, it will ensure accountability.

hey @Mel2 I found a version of the video I saw on youtube. It looks like either I wrote the times down wrong (?) or this video is slightly shorter… I just scrubbed through, so maybe there is some cuts in it. Otherwise I’ll chalk up to my error on some of the times. I made the edits below, and added video at the bottom (Youtube may ask you to confirm age to view it because of content).

Yeah…we are finding almost ALL full videos that were available online have now been “edited” (YouTube,
Google and Instagram have removed and replaced all of the ones that were full raw recordings…and Facebook is just outright blocking them from being posted …and definitely ones being posted on Lefty Fake News websites.

That’s so bizarre. Why wouldn’t they want us to see the facts?

…because they may not fit that organization’s narrative? Who knows?

I guess so. I can’t think of any other reason. All our cities are burning because of a video, so why those companies would take it upon themselves to edit that video is beyond me. Now we get to add one more stupid consideration to this future trial, that the jury will get to see unedited videos that we don’t have access to. But not because of official investigations or privacy, rather because YouTube decided Jack Nicholson was right, we can’t handle the truth.

This is PROFIT for News and Social media. Racism is SECOND ONLY to Nudity as far as profitability on-line internet sites go…the saleable advertising spots increase into the millions when your site or cable station holds a large audience for long periods of time.

And they “stroke” these incidents by altering, editing and fixing evidence and facts to fit the most profitable route they want the story to take…
