I had downgraded my membership for awhile due to some pending money issues and then reupped to my former level as things got better.
Unfortunately that didn’t last long and I called the USCCA office and canceled my membership last week.
After a few days I’ve decided to rejoin at the lower Gold level as I don’t want to lose access to the magazine, the site, and everyone here I’ve been interacting with since I first joined the USCCA back in 2011.
I’m going to call the office again this coming week and see if they can’t reinstate me at that 2011 date as since I rejoined it now says I’ve been a member since 2026…and all the training I had gone through is probably gone too….I haven’t checked but I’m assuming that’s the case.
I bit the bullet and paid for a full year instead of the monthly payment…I’ll sacrifice elsewhere to at least be able to continue to be a member here.
@FlashBack351 Hopefully they will reinstate your account with your original membership number, but at this time it looks like you’re a new member. Do you have your original card or is a new one on the way? Let us know, keep us in the loop, and hope it all goes well when you get in touch with USCCA office. Glad you decided to come back!
I called the USCCA office and the representative was very helpful and assured me that my status was set to my previous state and even shipped out a couple of 2A goodies as a way to say Thank You to me for wanting to keep up my membership through a rough patch…that really blew me away and I appreciate it.
For now I’m running solo and I’ll add the Mrs back when possible but I was informed that if anything does happen IN THE HOUSE she is still protected through my membership…she hasn’t conceal carried (against my wishes) anyway but it’s good to know that she’s covered in this way.
Very happy with the process and glad that my streak that began in 2011 is intact.
That’s great news and just know that the USCCA is a fantastic place to be with all the training, tutorials, and benefits the USCCA has to offer for us to help us be responsible gun owners and they’re available whenever we need them!!!
Looking at my information this morning it does not appear that my history goes back to the beginning any longer. Shows my membership began recently not in 2011
It looks like it saved the information on some of the videos and training I had completed though.
It is was it is as they say…disappointed in myself for the whole mess.
