That’s what I just read popping up on my phone, something about him not being honest about some past happenings , guess the T-man feels he’s got nuff battles to fight and may not wanna walk into any waiting for him but who knows? I guess we’ll just see aye?

I’m not buying it, at least not yet anyway.
First, I have neither seen nor heard any verifiable information that would allow me to say with any confidence that either the stories about Pete Hegseth or that Trump/Transition staff are in fact looking for someone else are true.
Next, I would be quite surprised if Pete Hegseth, or anyone else, would put everything they’ve worked towards, stood for, etc. on the line trying to cover for something whilst being vetted for a position like this.
To think that he thought for even a moment that he would successfully cover up something during the intensive vetting is a bit too far-fetched to just accept as fact without actual proof and evidence.
I’m not saying it isn’t possible, but it’s not something I’d be willing to stand-up and say, “it must be true”.
We shall see.

Finding a replacement for Hegseth may be difficult as the WWE executives, “Fox & Friends” personalities and TV reality show doctors are already under consideration for appointments to lead and manage federal government agencies. Maybe someone from Dancing with the Stars is available to run the Department of Defense, or a rapper who’s not in jail.

I just saw it on my phone that has a “ N “ on the app that is a white field with a big red N on it that looks like a folded piece of paper IDK if it’s true or not I could have thought I said. Looks like they are having more trouble with that Getz (sp?) guy seems like but I do think they should leave them alone because if they were accused by some barricuda for something and it was investigated and no charges were filed that should be the end of it as far as I’m concerned.
But I honestly don’t know about Hegseth and yea of course I know good and well I’m gonna hear “ He knows more about that stuff than you ever will!” and all that but I’m just saying I don’t think he’s the man for the job right now AGAIN right now but if some AHole wants to go off on me for it be my guest because you’ll get it right back. I ain’t saying the guys a bum I’m just saying his job isn’t all about talking about missles and this evil leader and all that because a lot of it is but he’s also has to sit down and act like a polished articulate gent having scorpion poop or whatever they eat with those Saudi Shieks and all sheesh

Mark, my friend, no one in this thread has criticized you for posting this topic or for posting your skepticism on Hegseth.
Other than one post above that made a poor attempt to belittle the Trump administration picks in whole, I don’t see anyone giving you pushback.
Like you, I have seen various “news” outlets reporting the same information that you’re speaking of. My point was that until there’s real, actual and verifiable information that supports these stories, we should all look at them with a raised eyebrow. As of yet, there has been nothing offered by any of these outlets that actually support their claims.
In other words, you’re good, my friend, I see nothing here that should cause you upset.

@ZoldFrog ,Thank you and believe me no one on this earth is more happier than me that Trump is in, I can even watch the news now again because I haven’t watched it since the first time he got elected because they talked about him so bad I couldn’t stand it and I completely stopped watching the news after he’d been in for two weeks or less until now and he beat them along with other republicans to so bad I can finally do some glutting watching those Democrats and all of their minions just squirming like they have a bug up their azzes. But I just don’t think Hegseth is the best man for the job yet that’s all and some people act like I’m questioning a God or something if Hegseth does wind up keeping the job hey I won’t feel one bit worried or anything else and that will be just fine but no one’s perfect, like I said I’ll be full of joy for at least four years and hope his Vice gets in and Carrie’s on the clean up for the next eight years because it will take a dozen yrs for him n Vance to clean the mess up. But everyone learns stuff and I’m sure he won’t be getting on line in the AM hrs and calling people every name in the book, I thought it was funny but it hurt him pretty bad to a voting block of old folks the last time around “ I think” a lot of old folks don’t think a president should be doing that and should be above that but wtf it’s gotten so bad under Biden I don’t think even they care about it this time around.

IDK what their name is but Everytime any headline comes around my phone has a little Ching to it and it shows a headline and you can dump it or read it and 98% I dump but that one caught my eye so I read it and passed it on and sure as hell didn’t make it up because I’m not quite that “ Ignant” because I already knew the negative ship Id get anyway I said that in my original post. I think it’s the app or whatever on phone that is a white field with a big red N on it and it’s made to look like a folded piece of paper, but F it I’m done with it. They know they can’t curtail this election like they did the last one because I think Trump won that one to because if it’s close the dums will cheat and pull it off like they are trying to In Pennsylvania now. Alright ! Now on the news ( FOX ) they ten at the bottom of their screen that President Elect is eyeing Dan Bongino to head the S.S. Now I like that !
And I’m sick of hearing these Governors and Mayors of these liberal bastions saying they won’t have Trump Administration deport these illegal aliens and some Venezuelan prison gangs already establishing themselves in like 16 or17 states already, of course they should not be elected again but if they can’t follow federal law they should be clapped in irons and do da walk do da Perp walk!

FOX ain’t the gospel but who the heck else is there to watch? I sure as hell ain’t watching the other two. I mean after eight years of not watching any of them if not FNC who the h3ll else is there? The Clinton News Network or MSDemBC? If there’s any better out there let me know
