Do you mean the two color pattern? Yeap, that is impressive. Definitely helps with reading on mobile devices.
Happy Anniversary Dawn!!
Thanks! It’s the Official Moderator Account anniversary
I can’t post pics hosted on the web in my replies either. The latest attempt was to link a pic of the US Women’s Trap Silver Medalist in the Olympics thread, and it only allows me to uploade from my computer.
You used to be able to post pics on the web… like on the meme threads.
I now can only post links to pics, or upload them from my computer.
Oh… So when you posted the link, the picture actually showed up on the thread?
IIRC, the “upload” button in the reply options menu had two options: one to upload a pic from your computer and two to paste a link to a pic from a website, like imgur. Both options would display the picture on the post. Now I can only post a link that someone has to click to see, or download the pic to my computer, then upload the pic via the upload menu.
Hmmm… I got you, but to be honest, I’ve never had two options for upload since the first day…in 2019.
I always have had either “upload image from PC” or use “hyperlink” button from menu, but they have been separated.
Awesome ! please share… That the great option for most of us.
Test 2
Well… I’m using:
<img src=”your image URL here”>
Edit: Ignore the following statement for this forum, as it seems like this forum automatically limits the size of the linked pic.
-However, for many users, you should probably size images down so they display properly on screens and don’t use up too much bandwidth.
Therefore adding something like:
width=“600” height=“600”>
-in place of the “>” might be better… space before “width=”
Test 3 using the above code (hmm… looks like the forum automatically adjusted the size):
Using the width and height at 600 code:
Edited code post above.
Weird, the platform we use did an upgrade that was supposed to make it EASIER, not harder to post a photo. I’ll dig into this more.
Thanks! The code is easy enough, but might be more complicated when using a phone or tablet to contribute.
