New York Times Perhaps Maybe Possibly Seeing New Light on Guns?

“I just appreciate the opportunity to put a plug in for the many, many, many Americans who are responsible gun owners,” Congresswoman Peltola said . “You look at some of the tragedies that are occurring, and those aren’t hunters, those aren’t kids that have grown up with hunting and the good values that, I think, hunting and hunting families provide. So I just … like the opportunity to give a plug for Second Amendment rights and good values.”

Why do people think the 2A has anything to do with hunting?

Who says you can’t fix stupid. It is called educating.

Because they think this topic is about hunting. You asked. Don’t want to derail the topic.

Perhaps I should have said, “Educating is how you fix ignorant; it can’t penetrate stupid.”

I learn new things every day, thereby enhancing my knowledge base and reducing my ignorance. I do fear that, in the grand scheme of things, my ignorance shall always outweigh my knowledge. Such is the human condition.

OK. I’ll cut the Times a SMALL bit of slack for now. However, I realize that, as soon as the winds change, The Times will very likely return to their previous positions regarding firearms and the 2A…
