Great pistol, love the size, capacity, grip, weight. I would own one but I like my humpless G19.5 and G30 too much ---

Ismael-Seven, I believe you have a fine weapons choice in the Hellcat. I have replaced most of my Hardware w/ Springfield’s Line-up. If I was going for another EDC and the choice of a ‘Micro’ an RDP (13) round/3/8" would be in my collection. Happy Hunting! WWG1WGA ---

As long you kept it in your hands, it fit and you liked it - you are good. Anything from Hellcat series is known as a good and reliable pistol. As always, some people like them… some don’t. The most important for EDC is its reliability, so try to watch some YT video with at least 1,000 or so rounds reviews. Do not count on reviews that say how nice, small, compact it is still holding 15 rds… 😉 Definitely get hands on this pistol before you decide to carry it. I personally like the grip, which is smaller than G19 and fits my hand perfectly. But that’s it. No more positives for me. _🤦‍♂️ Oops… I just compared something to Glock… 😱_ ---

@Ismael7 My advice is to go to your LGS and rent one out and shoot it. I also heard good things about it. Watch YT video reviews like @Jerzees mentioned. Hopefully you get what you want. ---

There are many great options at that price point. The important thing is to end up with a firearm that makes you want to practice with it and carry it. ---

I love the P-365 X and XL so much I bought my daughter and my mom one. I have the Sig 365 modified, with a flat trigger, and the Springfield Hellcat both fine guns. Both guns have a manual safety, which I prefer. The Hellcat Pro does not and it is up to you if you want that feature. I shoot more accurately with the Sig using 12 round magazines for some reason. ---

A friend of mine called me last night about a Glock 19 which a coworker is selling as the coworker is moving back to Germany. This would be his first handgun (his only other gun is a 12 gauge shotgun} and would be for home defense. I told him it’s a fine gun and would go with him go to the range to learn how to use it and afterwards show him how to maintain it. i also told him it could be used later as a EDC but would be rather large for that purpose. ---

It is one of my EDCs. I like the balance, grip, and the U sight. I have no problem with the trigger. I shoot it pretty well; better than I did a P365 XL. As a 3.7 barrel it has more kick than my Glock 48. While I like the Hellcat Pro very much, I shoot the Glock 48 better. It has a 4.17 inch barrel and the balance is amazing. Unlike the Hellcat Pro, I did have to update the sites with night sights and I upgraded the magazine catch to take 15 round magazines with Shield. Both are light and carry quite well AIWB. Both are also fairly easy to strip and clean though like the Glock one needs to pull the trigger to release fully the slide (this doesn’t bother me but for some it is an issue). I have not had any problems loading or shooting either with full mental jacket and hollow point between 100 and 124 grains. ---

I have not fired a Hellcat. I can tell you that everything I’ve read is positive. There are sooooo many quality EDCs that it’s all subjective. I would sugest that you rent one, put 100 rounds thru it & if you have no issues then by all means buy one. It’s a quality fitearm. I have four EDCs. I own MANY pistols most of which are full sized semiautomatic or revolvers. Out of the 4 EDCs, I mostly carry my little Ruger LC9s. Single stack with tritium sights.
