It’s been six months since FB suspended my account. The reason that is stated for the suspension is that some other user with a screen or account name that I have never used, neither am I familiar nor associated with it. There is no ability [field or icon] available to appeal anything. The flag on the account instructs me to log-in to my IG account to file an appeal. Well, there is nowhere on the IG account for me to submit such an appeal, neither is there anything wrong with the IG account! Nevertheless, I sent two emails through IG Help menu, but to no avail. I sent two emails to support at FB. No, response. Now, I’ve never received any business from any of my FB endeavors, but who likes being kicked off of anything without a cause. This leads me to believe that I must have a hacker somewhere or somehow. But I can’t get any help to determine any root causes other than this suspension. I’m just wondering if any of you know how I can get directly in touch with FB or IG? Thanks in advance for any assistance in this connection.

My guess is someone reported your FB account.
I never had to deal with having my account compromised so not sure how to proceed other than talking to a real person
Also, it’s nice to have some kind of two- or multi-factor authentication in place.
I don’t have either, but I hope you did not use the link in the message you were sent. Always login from a fresh browser, not through any email you receive. Hackers do fake sites to steal your login id and passwords. If you did, immediately change your password and contact the company.
What kind of content did you have on your FB Page? I know there are some weird rules they have when dealing with firearms, specifically if you are not a Licensed Dealer or Reseller you are not allowed to use FB for advertisement that involves firearms. Although I am not clear if that includes the promotion of firearm instruction.
Do you get the same message if you log into your accounts in a private/incognito window in you browser?
The only thing I posted was upcoming classes, pictures of range completions or class completions, and that’s all. Nothing out of the ordinary given the many posts that you may have seen. It was never enough to even pop-up on anyone’s radar.
