A recent storm.
Pride Month celebrated by Mother Nature?
But seriously… Rainbow is one of the most beautiful natural phenomena.
Where’s the nose ring and extra ear holes?
By the “pot-o-gold”.
Downstream from Mendenhall Glacier August, 2008. This one and a sibling were salmon fishing, or at least trying without much luck. This was taken from a foot bridge just above.
I would like to know who was the stylist that was brave enough to give the bear highlights down the middle of its back! I didn’t know grizzlies had that genetic trait.
I think that part of his hide wasn’t saturated yet. They were both fairly wet from lunging at salmon. These were juveniles, but still very impressive!
I didn’t think about that they could be juveniles. You’re probably right.
Friendly neighborhood nope rope.
First snek my little doggo has ever seen, she knows now that snakes are friends and to leave them alone. (Hopefully she will stay back from rattlers if she ever sees one)
I was happy to see a garter snake in my yard, especially with the almost plague level grasshoppers this year!
To anyone wanting garter snakes we have a plentiful supply here at our place. They can be picked up from the top of the ewe bushes right out front every morning. They lay on top in the sun to warm up. I like having them around for bug and spider control but they scare the begesus out of momma!
Not sure if this counts as a natural wonder since it has some in town stuff in it. But I still like the pic.
Happy clouds!
Beautiful sunset with a sliver of crescent moon tonight.
I just really wish I could’ve seen it from somewhere other than in the city.
Seriously, that with the silhouette of the mountains rather than my neighbors solar panels!???
Yellow Finch’s outside my window, I think we grow Sunflowers just for them.
