Nice. I’ve never heard of that version before.

First version I heard was by hard rock band Nazareth. So, when I heard RS’ original, I thought it was lame :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

@BeanCounter Apparently Keith Richards wrote it. I like the RS version but it was the only one I knew of!

I wouldn’t classify this as a “slow dance” song, though it is rather calm and definitely makes me dance. This was a song that hit home when I first heard it in the mid-nineties and still brings a smile when I hear it now.

Now though, he can jam with Jerry again along with a few other musicians he’s played with throughout his career

Indeed! Bet that place rocks, so many good ones up there. Music is awesome that way though, their work remains forever.

Post a link to what you’re currently listening to. If the lyrics and/or video (if there is one) contain explicit or otherwise NSFW content, please “spoiler” the link.

If you’re unsure how to do this, there are two ways:

  1. Type [ spoiler ] at the beginning of the link and type [ /spoiler ] at the end, both without the spaces after and before each of the brackets.
  2. Highlight the link and use the cog at the top right of the toolbar, select “blur spoiler” (this adds the required BBCode from option 1).

I’m a huge fan of a YouTube/TikTok/Instagram singer called Rain Paris. She takes Pop Songs and gives them a hard rock remix/vibe. I don’t really care about the sex politics of her persona. But man can that girl sing.
