I remember ‘78. We lived right on the street of the “snow belt” and always got far more snow than even the surrounding area. we got ONE day off school for all of those feet of snow. Crazy.
Can’t imagine living in those conditions. I never really paid attention to snow until I started to spend January weekends in Lake Tahoe and Big Bear Lake about four years ago. Those are lame compared to New England. Take care. Watch some Death in Paradise episodes to make you forget about what’s happening outside your doors. ![]()
I will check it out. I’m reading a series of books by Robert Parker. I’ve read about 33 of them since December. I have 3 more lined up. Yeah, this was one “wicked” storm!
@BeanCounter And Spencer, my fav PI.
Never saw that interview or performance before. Thanks. Always makes my heart happy to see or hear Dan.
Yes, I only found out the Parker connection after I was introduced to Stone.
Parker died 2010 but several authors have continued the adventures of the main characters approved by parker’s estate. Mike Lupica is one and he writes in a similar style. Fast paced and humorous.
I vaguely remember watching a few episodes on tv with Robert Urich as Spenser. Now, I got to look for them on Roku.
What’s that, late 80s or early 90s? Memories.
