This was the Puch (online image):
And this the Harley Davidson (also an online image)
The Puch I remember died of a combination of hard and over-use with not enough maintenance. The Harley, I’m not sure what happened to that.
Anywho…

I like that little Harley. I had no idea they ever made a 2 stroke or a trail bike of any sort.
How much milk are those holding? They look FULL!
So…true story. I took my son to the Philadelphia zoo years ago. Like any good dad, I’m packing heat for this trip. I was scared to death I’d get on the wrong road, get stuck without the ability to turn around on a bridge to the dark side of the river, and end up in a NJ prison. When we got home, my wife asked our toddler son how the trip was. He responded “daddy just kept turning around and around and around.”
He’s no longer a toddler but I still hear about it…
And I plan ahead for trips better.
I tell people I don’t need a GPS because I have a … insert my wife’s initials here.
It’s a good life.
I was about 12 when I was allowed to ride grandpa’s moped solo for the first time. Wiped out in loose gravel right in front of my mom who was sitting on the neighbor’s porch. No helmet. I had the biggest goose egg of my life and prolly some gravel in my head. Apparently there was no such thing as a concussion back then. This was a Sunday afternoon. Yep. We still made it to church that night. And no one called social services on us either!
@Sinbad Good story! LOL. If we are with others who don’t know we are carrying, they might think we’re crazy for not going to that event at the school or running into the PO with them etc…or cross that sign…Welcome to…Holy sh$t I should not be in this state!
And here you are all these years later with a good story to share! Kids today won’t have good stories.
… there I was, on level 12 of the video game, when my avatar wiped out on the motorcycle and came up with a digital head full of digital gravel… doesn’t quite have the same interest
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm? 'Rocks in yer head!" Totally believable story, Thanks for sharing!
…Goes Great with Waffle’s too! Like Peanut butta N Jelly!

Still have my carbon fiber Trek hanging on the garage wall alongside my off road racing bike. Not sure why. These days I ride a tricycle with some power assist for big hills.
