Ironic that my post in reply to someone’s religious post got hidden. Apparently someone hasn’t the tolerance that is taught by their religion.

Lol, projection. It would seem if the religious had such strong faith, someone questioning it should not be so difficult to deal with. Are you taught about trials and tribulations and overcoming hardships, etc.? If mere words destroy your belief, than maybe you don’t believe it, either.
As I had stated earlier, debate the Christian “true word of God” with an Imam. Not likely he would believe it, either.
My comment was not directed specifically at Christianity, but the person posting “facts” about God and religion happens to be Christian. I am an equal opportunity denier of faith. If a satanist post “facts” about their religion, I would question that, too, but I haven’t seen any posts concerning that ideology.
As others stated about posts that were flagged, get a thicker skin and move along.

Most likely me, then, too. If you don’t want someone questioning it, stop posting all the religious content. There are numerous religions other than Christian-based ones, and likely the others would also not believe your God is the one true God. Oh, wait, that’s Islam. Then there are religions that are poly-theistic, such as Hindu. I guess their Gods are wrong, too.

Thought i typed NASB. Interlinear is the only one more word for word from the original text.
Thought for thought/idea for idea/paraphrasing type bibles bring in the “human” group thing.
Type in bible translation chart…those might help😁

I decided a long time ago to not argue with people (as much as possible) over the internet. But I will say this in regards to why I believe the Bible.
If you don’t believe, try to disprove it, historically, archaeologically, scientifically, prophetically, etc. There are a ton of websites that bash the Bible, but I challenge you to do more than just “internet warrior” research. Go to the library and read / study books that address specific things the Bible references in those categories. Discover for yourself if what it says is true, or if it’s a fraud — but don’t let the opinions of internet trolls influence you.
There’s a man, Lee Stobel, who was an atheist who set out to disprove various parts of the Bible. He’s written several books on the subject, all from an exclusively logical / historical perspective. Well documented and worth the time to read, IMHO.

Oh, Oh, I know, God. Aside from your belief it was “God”, who knows? Nor do I care. Where did “God” come from? How was he ushered into existence? I don’t bother trying answer those questions as there is no provable answer, at least as of yet, nor will it change my life in anyway.
I believe in living a good, moral life, God or no God, I will still be a good, moral person. I do not need to believe in Eternal Damnation to be a good person. I was raised Methodist. One was to be the best person one could be. If you did something wrong God was not just going to forgive because you said you were sorry. Even trying, as one was taught to do, to be a better person might be enough for absolution. Then there are the Catholics. Sin, say a couple of prayers and sin some more. Yeah, God obviously has preferences for certain religions over others. If that is true, then the Muslims have it right, as they believe their religion is the one True Religion and their God is above all others. Convert or die. No thanks.
