I have a T shirt I often wear that says I’m on a government watchlist. My wife won’t let me wear it when we travel but lots of people have told me it’s funny. The funny part is I am on the No Fly List and have to provide a TSA redress number whenever I book a flight.
I found out years ago that I was on a list. I was scheduled to fly from Cleveland to Denver with the VA for the wheelchair winter sports clinic (adaptive snow skiing). My flight was booked by the VA travel department, I was questioned about, then the VA legal department handled it. Only thing I ever heard was it was someone with the same last name, never had any issues since.
