He did say that if Panama doesn’t lower rates on the canal he’d start making moves to take it back. I never understood why we gave it away in the first place. We built it, at our expense, we ran it for about, what, 70 years, and then we just give it away with nothing in it for us at all, like guaranteed passage, pricing, anything. Just “here, we built this, now it’s yours.”
I’m liking the feel of this “America First” concept.

Good question. A lot of people don’t take it seriously, but we SHOULD for two reasons. First is to keep China from setting up shop there or possibly buying it themselves. Second… Resources, it is a treasure trove of heave metals and where better to open pit mine than where no one lives? Those that are not taking this seriously are not paying attention. Love the name BTW…
