I don’t have the same problem, but I have used a paint marker to mark my mags so I can make sure to rotate them. If I have a problem with one, I can easily identify it later.

I put the markings on the bottom of the mags with a neon paint pen. I write the initials. “G” for Glock etc… some of the manufacturer mags are labled on the bottom like Ruger & Glock but lots of them are not.
