I think they should offer the jobs to Americans first. Outsource the ones Americans don’t want.

Drug cartels exist and are enriched as a result of the failed war on drugs which has been going on for more than half a century without any material impact on the demand for illegal drugs. When something is illegal and in demand the price of that product increases and enriches the criminal organizations that supply the illegal substance.
Prohibition should be an historical lesson. Banning alcohol did not stop people from drinking and simply enriched organized crime. Of course, to combat organized crime, governments expanded law enforcement and made things like machine guns, short-barreled rifles/shotguns and stocks on handguns illegal without a tax stamp. The AFT was born to enforce these laws and collect taxes from otherwise law-abiding people. Banning alcohol enriched organized crime, reduced our freedoms and expanded the reach of government.

Prince is a douchebag constantly pimping for government contracts now that wars are over. Paying mercenaries to do the job of nation states is anathema. Who wants a bunch of opportunistic clowns running around unchecked, and in most ways similar to the cartels they would be fighting? It should be noted letters of marque haven’t been used since we formed a standing professional army and navy. They also can get you designated as a hostile enemy force in the country you are operating in. Those permissions won’t be worth the text file they were typed into if you run into Mexico’s military.
