Let's see your new gun!

You’re right, it does look good, and the fact that you love shooting it is super important. Welcome to the world of shooting!

You successfully painted Stainless? First time?

Well done…and a good substrate cleaner; I suspect.

This is my newest gun.

It’s been a hot minute. Newest acquisition: Walther PPQ M2 chambered in .45 ACP. New and was relatively inexpensive. Easiest racking firearm I’ve ever purchased and the recoil is totally manageable. Or, I’m just progressing faster and better than I realise. Walther makes an elegant firearm, IMO.

You could rack a Walther PDP-F with your teeth.

Absolutely, it is very recoil friendly.

You are on your way to the 2011 club, the new C3.6 maybe?

Yeah, that’s true.
That is how I started. My first pistol was PPQ 9mm 4"… then few others… and look how I ended with…

She is purdy, but I really want a Hellcat .380 next, for no other reason than I want it and there’s a slot in the safe. Got my first shotgun from the significant other for my birthday. Haven’t seen it yet because absence makes the heart grow fonder. Hoping it’s a trench gun. In the meantime, I’m focusing on elk season and collecting jerky recipes.

Yep. I started shooting in earnest in … January? Got my CCW in February. Up to at least a baker’s dozen handguns and the Golden Boy, and am carrying regularly and still practicing weekly. Not too shabby for the local Lib cat lady.

Careful you don’t become a gun nut!

Trust me, your significant other will be on board because that means they get to play with your toys to!

Congratulations on a S.O. who gets you.

Okay, no pictures yet but I went to pick up a Marlin .357 lever action. The guy at the counter asked if I wanted anything else and I asked if they had any Glock 21,s. He said yes, they have two. So, I got me a Glock 21. Yes, I already have four .45’s I already had the magazines for it and it just makes sense. i have a .45 Banshee with the magazines now I have the gun to go with it. Having 13 rounds instead of 7 will be nice too!

I got the gun then had to tell my wife. I was worried about it at first but when I told her that I paid around $500.00 for it she was happy for me. Then we talked about getting a larger safe, but I told her we should just get a second safe so all our eggs are not in one basket. She likes that idea so, now I need to get another safe..

All you had to do was come home with another pistol and your wife told you to go buy another safe?
Did you ever see that coming?

Not really but I like her thinking. She understands me! She gets to shoot the Marlin so, she is happy.

You know that post where only if your guns fall out of your safe do you really have enough guns. Now if I use a whole room as a gun safe then there is room for a lot more guns.

I’m still interested in a Marlin, but it has to be this one.

I love my Rossi 92, but it needs a friend.
