Nice setup, I know it’s hard to get used to it at the beginning. I think the raised cowitness sights makes it a bit easier.
Absolutely unneeded…but I love inexpensive grey/blue firearms. Can’t wait to fit the grips (adjustable back and sides) and shoot it. Owners seem to absolutely love them. “Practically free” as I love to say.
Anyone own or have shot them? Thoughts?
Free guns are always welcomed.
I’m very picky about handgun these days, so my opinion won’t be very positive…
I don’t like Glock and its clones but I like VP9 and its grip… so I have had mixed thoughts about this handgun. However bad trigger pull convinced me to not have it in my collection.
Fair enough. I’ve never met a Glock that I like, but I will say that this feels magnificent in my hand…however they did it. Similarly good as my VP9SK. I’m hopeful. At ~$200…I couldn’t say no.
I have one Glock left, G30, and after owning several(43X, 19, 19X, 36, 21, 20, 30S, 35)I can say without hesitation that my VP9SK is far better in every way. Just my 1.50
VP9-ish grip is the only thing that is positive about SAR9. It feels great… but doesn’t shoot great enough for me.
My hits are equal, whether I’m using intended projectiles or I just throw a firearm…so adequate.
Those a beautiful!
Thank you!

How do you like the Leupold?
1 mil dot doesn’t obscure the target area at range. I love it,lots complain the dots to small…not me. I’ve got two of these bdc models…built like a tank.
Nice piece of hardware brother @Joel106
I have been on the fence regarding that red dot…maybe it’s time I get one
My suggestion, if you do get one, spend the little extra money to get a green one. Far greater visibility in my experience.
I recommend trying both red and green dot, I originally thought the green would be better since I prefer green laser in the construction industry, but I noticed that I am seeing the green dot a bit fuzzy with my pistol, maybe because of my astigmatism, then I tried a friend gun with red dot and it was much clearer.
It could also be dependent on the quality of the optic, but in general, green is an easier wavelength to see.
Nothing wrong with trying both.
