I have heard that for Permitless carriers, that there is a presumption of guilt vs. innocents until proven otherwise.
What happened to the presumption of innocence until proven otherwise as any other citizen?
Seems like unconstitutional discrimination to me! Ask an attorney.

Yes, it used to be innocent until proven guilty, then it was guilty until proven innocent, now it’s just plain guilty until proven guilty. Yes, you heard that correctly. And I said it because it’s true. Pre-crime detention and arrests are a thing now, in some locations. It is being tried in some cities. Good luck with that, kids.
Personally, I would have left the mum with her gun and quit or got fired from the Po Po if they ordered me to disarm her. I would not be the one to do that.
Meantime, this is why we have more than one gun. And not all of them in the same location.

sadly IIRC don’t matter who you are…
using a firearm in self-defense always results in that firearm being taken by the LEO’s
they are supposed to return it but sadly you often need attorneys to get them back…
