They tried to rob this kid and one teenager ends up dead. Pretty disgusting actually. We don’t know anything about the Champaign but it must have been pretty good stuff. Full disclosure, Kearns High is quite a ways from my place but it is part of the area we roamed around when we were in High School. The area wasn’t good back then and it isn’t any better now.

Notice when criminals do criminal stuff bad things happen. Guy selling the black market booze out of his trunk was 18. Avoiding criminal activity drastically reduces your chances of being a victim.

“The 17-year-old boy in the backseat did not get out of the car due to having a broken leg from being shot during a separate robbery on April 16, according to the affidavit.”
These kids seem to be going around committing armed robberies, get shot, get caught and go back out to do it again.

US violent crime rates shows a long-term downward trend since the early 1990s, with a few notable exceptions. The violent crime rate peaked in 1991 and has generally decreased since then, reaching near a 50-year low by 2022.
The violent crime rate in the US peaked in 1991 at 721 violent offenses per 100,000 people. Since then, it has generally declined, with exceptions in 2005-2006, 2014-2016, and 2020-2021.
Reality can be a biatch sometimes but I do enjoy living in it…
My hopes they finally find a cell. That will hold them for a very long time… I would hope, that law enforcement, would if nothing else, build a case on the seller for federal liquor trafficking offence…
How much of that is created by reclassifying crimes and the way they are reported. If memory serves there are still local police department that don’t report to the FBI. I know around here, with the left wing DA and Mayor, some violent crimes are often classified as incidents and not reported.

Oh I am sure. Not to mention the ones they reduce because they are lazy at their jobs… The above post about numbers where because of a comment someone posted about the last four years… I would have put it as a reply or by name … They are sensitive to being told this is the truth… So I just posted it with the follow up … Of what I hope happens like any normal person .
One thing though. This goes back to the 90’s to today. So it might be closer to the truth, over that period of time. Both sides of the isle would have had a hand in it.
