The most informative gun buying guide I’ve come across is the annual published by Peterson Publications. They produce a separate handgun guide, as well. Half of it is articles on specific models, and the other half is the guide itself, with a listing of manufacturers. They also offer specialty magazines like Rifle and Handloader, among others. If the Guide isn’t on your news stand, it might be available direct, but it ain’t cheap - it makes other guides like Guns and Ammo’s look puny by comparison. FYI

No- look up Petersen Publications magazines for examples of their regular magazines - couldn’t find anything direct for their guides.

The publisher is PeterSEN, not PeterSON - my error. Guns & Ammo is one of their magazines.
