One of my favorite comedians was George Carlin - he once said that the secret of his success was always having something to write on to record a word, idea, etc. that could be turned into a later comedy bit. Their are a ton of his quotes online, and some of them rank right up there with Mark Twain’s on the human condition.

I’ve seen many troubles in my time, only half of which ever came true.

@Kurt17 >> a good one is George Carlin : religion & God live : I ’m not going to put in a link because it is viewer discretion advised. There is a link in “ what’s your religion & why. With due respect but it’s funny as hell.

Along those lines I can see George doing a bit on “funny as hell”. What would they be laughing about?

Twain, Carlin, sure. What about Yogi Berra? You wanna talk quotable lines…
“When you come to a fork in the road, take it.”
“If you don’t go to anyone’s funeral, they won’t come to yours.”
And so forth.
