Why would I force a Sig mag into a Glock knowing that it can misfeed or double feed or get stuck.

Most of the mags will work in any pistol if it fits the size and you slam in into the magwell then hold from the bottom…

Why would anyone own a sig? Make a firearm that goes off for no apparent reason & then offer an upgrade. Really?
Old Sigs are amazing. P226 and P228. My first issue was a Sig P228. Still have it after about 75000+ rounds, soaked in mud, sand and salt water. Never a problem, never failed me. I’m not a big fan of Sig’s plastic guns though, but in all fairness I don’t own one, so I can’t judge. I do own a new P226 Legion which is almost too nice to let it meet all the elements. My old P226 died an honorable death.
