On the plus side, I was watching live when the barrage started,…. So thanks to that video footage, now I know exactly what inbound ballistic missiles will look like, and what our defense will look like as well. As well as seeing at least one that was hit while still in “space”. (Which was spectacular for a space nut like myself)

Honestly, Iran is taking a huge prestige hit (much like Russia has) because the West had no idea how capable Iran’s Ballistic missiles were/are. Now it’s showing they aren’t very capable or accurate. They would have done better shooting drones and regular missiles and kept their ballistic missiles capability a secret because (and this could be intentionally planned to make their ballistic missiles look weak) but as it looks right now Iran’s ballistic missiles are a toothless threat.
Unless this is to make them look weak when they are really good. I mean everyone was touting Russia’s “hyper missiles” until they got used and were so ineffective in/against Ukraine.
Again could be a fake out. But I don’t think so.

I also think that any escalation might be an intentional diversion from staying focused on our goal of getting our vote out to succeed at changing the current regime out.
We must not loose sight of our goal no matter what BS SHTF distractions they throw our way.

In the wake of Israel’s “offensive” against Hezbollah, I’ll say this: be careful what you wish for. Hezbollah is not Hamas and Lebanon is not Gaza. Lebanon is a mountainous region with many places for concealment - at least in the south by the river. This will be a different war from what the IDF is used to fighting. With Iran’s support they’ll figure things out. When they do Israel may find that they got more than they bargained for. Then there’s Russia. Jus sayin.

Not questioning you as a personal affront. But, Israel has been in near constant, deadly exchanges with Hezbollah for 20+ years.
Russia is exhausting itself and it’s war fighting materiel in the Ukraine. They had to impose a draft of 133,000 men in the last week to continue their territorial ambitions now. Also, they have been buying back obsolete Soviet era materiel for their systems to continue the one conflict in which they are engaged currently. Short of nuclear intervention I don’t see them being able to project the type of power necessary.

Russia found that they got more than they bargained for invading the Ukraine.
I don’t see them getting anymore over stretched than they already are.
They talk intimidatingly, but actually achieving anything is another story.
I think the IDF can figure things out well too.
Hamas underestimated Israel, and got themselves nearly annihilated for that.
Israel will bloody those who bloody them. Others be damned.
