Is this considered a conceled weapon or open carry?

I doubt you have ever been an LEO.

Coolest fanny pack I’ve ever seen. I’m “not” sure what’s inside of it though; A cel phone, binoculars, wallet, keys, EDC stuff? If it must go outside the shirt or pants, it does not look scary to me at all. I’d hardly notice it.

If it looks like a fanny pack, it has a gun in it, haven’t you learned? Oh, and the guy carrying it must be gay.

Even law abiding gays legally carry. WHAT!!! NO THUMBS UP??? I know people. Any one hadn’t noticed out at the ranges, gun safety classes, or wherever? :woman_beard: :people_holding_hands: No situational awareness?

How about responsibly armed gays? Just sayin. That would make them just like regular people. Homophobic isn’t a real thing anymore. I didn’t just say that out loud, did I¿:v:

Oh yeah, that works too, whether gay or straight, it doesn’t matter, and that would make “ALL” and I mean “EVERYONE of US” (not just them) like regular people.  HOWEVER, when adding into the mix “law abiding” or “responsibly armed” are two COMPLETELY DIFFERENT things, depending on one’s standing. A person can be a law abiding, responsibly armed person. Now, a criminal felon illegally “RESPONSIBLY ARMED” IS NOT a “law abiding” person. ANYONE can be responsibly armed. Criminals that are prohibited from possessing firearms are very careful with their concealed firearms so they won’t be detected (responsibly conceal armed until caught) “GREYMAN” too. Nice, clean cut, neatly dressed, til they get you when you least expect it. Who can tell the difference, if one is at a gas station gassing up, eating at a fast food place, standing in line inside the bank, getting in/out of the car at a parking lot. Point is, anyone can conceal carry, legally/illegally, permit/no permit, responsibly or not.

That is a buffet for thought. To me being responsibly armed is stopping murderers. Whether it is done legally or illegally doesn’t matter. Legally is preferred.

FWIW, I think I read somewhere recently that Sneaky Pete’s are specifically not allowed for CCW here (California.)

You might want to reread the article or fact check the information.
This is from AI- A “Sneaky Pete” holster is considered concealed carry even in California, as it is designed to discreetly hide a firearm within a pouch that looks like a regular everyday item, allowing the user to carry a gun without it being readily apparent to others; however, in California, you still need a valid Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) permit to legally carry a concealed firearm, regardless of the holster type used.

I asked Sneaky Pete about this, and they just said for me to check local and state laws.

Did you do that? My guess is they would tell you to check with sneaky Pete.:person_shrugging:t2:

I sent an Email asking about this to our county sheriff’s concealed carry office, so we’ll see what they say. But they are way backed up, so may not hear from them quickly.

Good luck with that. I feel God gave me a conscience if I don’t use it I will lose it. I don’t think there are any laws on the books about Sneaky Pete holsters. I let my conscience be my guide.
