This is a hostile situation, for me, it’s not about determining if the threat is a real firearm or not, once the individual began their draw, I am not waiting to see what they are about to present.

Nailed it, terrible day to be a criminal armed with an air-pistol when the good guy has a real pistol.
Granted in today’s age I am sure the Karen’s will scream why didn’t I let the crazy person shoot me first to realize it was not a real firearm or why didn’t I shoot the toy out of their hand. That’s for my lawyer to argue before a judge.

You might feel differently after holding it. At a gun show years ago, I had the opportunity to experience the Chiappa. The trigger guard dug uncomfortably into my middle finger.
The interesting aspect of her pulling that “gun” on him is that she did not have her finger on the trigger.

it looks very plastic to me, with what looks like an air canister plug at the bottom to the appearance of a slight bend its most likely a toy.
however that person should still go to prison.
