This make no sense. Israelis are encouraged to carry guns. If anything Israel’s enemies what to know who doesn’t have guns.
if you’re not on the list, WHY?
I am trying to get on the list. I have to learn Hebrew. Is that the list you’re talking about?
Didn’t something like this happen in California? Something to do with permit holders or something?
A lot of men in the Haredi communities are discouraged from being gun owners by their Rabbis, because they feel it will interfere with their studies.
Criminals like to know who has guns, they will even pay to get the list, even pay the enemies.
Forgive my slowness today… why do you want to get on A list you dont have to be on, let alone, the compromised list?
I am not sure if we are talking about the same list. I want to be on the list that says I can carry a gun in Israel. What list are you talking about?
Criminals are looking for easy targets. they wanna know who doesn’t have guns not who has guns. That’s what doesn’t make sense about it.
I disagree there are plenty of criminals looking to steal guns. So if they know you have them in your home and they know you are not home, they may opt to try and break in and steal them.
True, that is not a good enough reason for me not to have a gun or any Israelis for that matter. Many Israelis open carry anyway.
Absolutely, but it’s also why I never post on my social media any of my firearms or talk about them on social media. And also never post I am leaving my house for anything on social media, had a friend get his house robbed after his wife posted the family was leaving on a 2 week European Vacation. May as well have just told all the criminals out there that their house was wide open for the next 2 weeks.
My wife and I always get somebody to housesit.
In NYC or Chicago, or Israel for that matter, if you know who has guns, you also know, with good deal of certainty, who does NOT. Do you see the logic?
Also, stealing. I am pretty sure you can enter an apartment building and leave with a cache, if you are armed with the list.
That is true unless you’re not on the list. It all sound pretty weird to me. Maybe that’s because I’m not a criminal.
To me the point is not on the list so you know what I have , not on the list so you know what I don’t have, the point is some bastard has a list, that can be stolen and used against American citizens
I thought it was a list of Israelis
Exactly why I cannot understand someone saying “I inherited such and such” how do I get them in my name? As far as I’m concerned, you inherited nothing. The only exception is if they are specifically inventoried and the recipient is specifically named. That’s why anything other than property and cars or items publicly registered should never exist in a will or trust. Only saying this because this topic shows the flaws in systems. Tesla owners are being exposed to harassment and worse because the registration system can be abused. Unless it’s unavoidable, keep everything you own below the radar. Especially true of anything firearms related. JMHO
Exactly, when it comes to family heirlooms hopefully I live to a ripe old age where I can personally hand them to my son, however if something happens to me then he will inherit a Key and he knows what to do from there. My family’s tradition there are two things we never sell or trade, religious books and firearms, they get passed down to the oldest son, been this way since my Great Grandfather came from Lithuania to Mexico with nothing but a small suitcase and a couple dollars.
