I spent 42 years in power generation , 5 in nuclear and 37 in a huge coal plant in NW Colorado, so I am very aware of those self righteous, Prius driving hypocrites. The hug themselves and say how wonderful they are for saving planet 
earth. Ask what our national energy plan is? There isn’t one. Those pretentious, self absorbed dirtbags dont want coal, nuclear, gas/oil, yet the elitist build 15k sq ft homes in the Rocky Mountains as a vacation getaway with heated driveways. Where’s the power coming from? Wind and solar is a joke, yet we continue the scam. Image the cubic ft of natural gas we burn in a gas turbine to be equal to 1000 tons of coal. Why would we, as a nation, waste the wonderful natural resource of natural gas to generate electricity? Those environmentalist hypocrites will fight to the death to ban logging, but are fine with having a forest 
fire that burns 300k acres. Colorado has been taken over by the Communist, so this fits right in with their agenda. Guns are targeted by the same people.

I teach Earth and Space Science to high school Juniors and Seniors. This next school year will be my last. We cover ‘weather and climate’. I always assign a ‘pro/con’ climate change project. This next year’s project will focus on the BRAVO SIERRA ‘science’ of the ‘climate doomers’.

According to scientists the Amazon rain forests contributed 25% of the conversion of CO2 to O2 on our planet. Brazil has been decimating these rain forests for years. Not a word from the environmental groups about this. Same in the case of all the new coal fired power plants China has been building for the past 15 years. Makes me wonder if the groups that complain the most about the U.S. are being funded by those who wish to destroy our economy and our way of life.

Let’s see, when I was a kid in the fifties, it was the coming of another ice age. Then the ozone was being depleted, and we would die from cancer due to exposure to the sun. Next was acid rain it was going to destroy all the soil, and there was going to be a great famine. An on and on and on. You just can’t fix stupid!
