As I got older and started feeling like I was actually a mortal I would have to check myself for doing stuff like getting cut-off and losing all the decency and sense I had and give the guy the finger for starters and it would get worse than that but anyhow anymore I have to check myself and say “ does this guy look like I’d stand a chance if we got out of our cars/trucks? Maybe I should play it safe and wake up at home in the morning as opposed to waking up in traction at a hospital lol. Things change so fast! Seemingly like a year ago I’d be brake checking people and have cars sideways on the interstate going 75 MPH like a complete dip ship

About getting older. I’ve been fighting and training in hand-to-Hand and several martial arts for about 25 years now. I’ve said this a few time recently…
“I’m the more experienced fighter, I’m the better trained fighter, I’m the better conditioned fighter but these young guns still kick my ass…”. I guess it’s mind to muscle, Their message get’s from their brain to my face faster than my message says “Get Out of The Way… Do Something!!”

@Mike164 I think they ex MMA stuff they watch all the time teaches them a thing or two but the worst thing is is that it doesn’t teach them about a fight being over and they keep punching and kicking and stomping and elbow, kneeing until someone is about dead . When someone’s has their azz kicked it’s over and in my day the next thing you would do would go back inside and have a beer together.

I was talking to a group of our young fighters the other day, the little ■■■■’s that think they are bad ass. I tried to explain to them the Main Difference between Sport Fighting and Street Fighting…
"It’s the unbridled Rage. In the cage we work on stay calm, emotions under control. In the Street your opponent is likely crazed by rage and will do thing in that moment that they wouldn’t normally do, which includes not stopping once you are unconscious or disabled by injury…

Depending on the situation I’d say you’re both right, not to mention that a drug crazed lunatic may not even know you’ve broken his arm or whatever, super human strength, in such a case I’d think it would be best to split because shooting something like that is liable to get you pinched real good. Prolly beat it but it might take sum doin
