Actually, the birthright citizenship issue will be determined by the judicial branch, (Supreme Court) who will utimately interpret the meaning of the existing law. The law was originally proposed by the authors to address birthright citizenship of the children of slaves, not the children of illegal immigrants.

I would be very surprised if the Supreme Court did that, it would be a complete change on the interpretation which has existed since the 14th Amendment was introduced.

True, but the Orange man did not propose ANYTHING even though he said it would be the first thing he would do in his first 100 days in office. He just flat-out lied to get people to vote for him.
Then, there was J6 and the Orange man’s efforts to remain in office. Wants everyone to have term limits, except him. The draw of a federal office for life.

SCOTUS has already ruled on birthright citizenship in the early 1900s. It would have to reverse itself to change that precedent.

You are not going to change anyones oppinions by addressing the President in that way. Nobody is going to take you serious, just like nobody takes people serious when they name call Democrats. The President is not a person who can or should be taken seriously. He’s a con man who will say anything – true or not – to get elected (remember the promise to build a wall along the entire southern border, remember the claim that he could settle the Ukraine/Russia war within 24 hours) and deliver next to nothing and claim it is historic and that he’s been anointed by God to make America great again. He lies as casually as other men draw a breath.
The Goebbels law of propaganda should come to mind … “If you repeat a lie often enough, people will believe it, and you will even come to believe it yourself.”

The popularity of DOGE among our population in general is on the rise as they uncover more and more wasted tax dollars. If the Republicans can keep it together and quickly pass bills to push Trump’s agenda to spur economic growth by 2026 mid terms a growing economy, peace, and prosperity will keep Republicans in control.
The Democrats IMHO are sealing their fate by opposing everything Trump is doing that 80% of Americans agree with. Their lunatic behaviour displayed in front of cameras make it clear to everyone they have become unhinged. I don’t know many people watching this who would reasonably think that these people screaming, singing, chanting and flailing about should be anywhere near a seat of power.
The Republicans just need to do the work while the dumbocrats continue to destroy themselves and any credibility they ever had.

Just like with slaves (Even though THEY were considered property at the time) the U.S. vs. Wong Kim Ark case involved LEGALLY DOMICILED residents in the United States, not ILLEGAL immigrants. Being legally domiciled as such, THEY WERE subject to the jurisdiction of the United States. ILLEGALS are not subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, but to the country in which they are citizens of.

OK, point of order here: Trump was only inaugurated January 20, 2025, only one month passed on February 20, 2025, not 100 days yet by a long shot.

Your messaging is not going to win converts, we are a month into his 2nd Term and screaming the sky is falling will only have people look out their window and let you it’s not. I disagree with the method in which DOGE is handling the reduction in Government spending. However i need to see the actual results that are produced, if there is no impact on Government services after all the terminations then Elon and President Trump were correct and I was wrong. However if this leads to loss of services and wrecks our economy then i like every Patriot will hold Elon and Trump responsible.

I don’t think a third term is even a remote possibility but IMHO he needs to slow the he11 down big time and not put your party a.k.a. the future of the country in jeopardy just so you can break a bunch of records and be the first to do this and that . He does want to make the country great again but he is famous for his ego and it can’t seem like it’s all about him ya know?
But I don’t see him keeling over and turning turtle because that old man has the stamina to work and be on the go from 6 am to 11 or 12 or pm!

Truth that, read it though, it’s not final, more to come.
Concurrently Trump got all his Cabinet nominees through despite much opposition from the snarky contentious confirmation hearings.
And, a lot of legal resistance to his actions with judges of the former regime signing temporary injunctions to stall his progress.
He is fighting a lot of resistance and still persevering, and getting a lot of results.
He has the entire prior team’s screwing of America to get unscrewed. A little over his first month in office. How about some realistic expectations.
