How the anti gunners think we get our guns

I’m totally getting my next firearm with sprinkles.

We get them from the “buy back, buy back” programs
via the gun show loop holes, silly :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Thankfully, you are not in the right place to find mine… If I recall correctly, they are at: 36.925888, -75.980615, give or take a few hundred miles… I can’t recall if I was on Long Island or in Virginia Beach at the time. Sometimes one forgets the details… :sunglasses:

Must be Va. Beach… nothing but Saturday night specials in LI waters :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Not the part of the island I lived in, mostly lost anchors and fishing rods…. :sunglasses:. Every home had at least a shotgun and/or a rifle. Pistols were difficult and expensive to obtain. Did not know anyone outside of LE that owned a pistol.

Exactly. The homes had shotguns and rifles.
Just kidding anyways, can’t see much diving that water, and after awhile I found I didn’t want to see what was down there. I just sailed and swam eastern LI, Montauk and Gardiners bay, so many nice harbors, primarily. Had my boat in Old Saybrook, then New London CT. Some crazy waters, Plum Gut, the Race etc…went to Bridge Hampton a few times with my buds and our bikes back when they had the track.
Where on the island were you?

I don’t use the handle on my coffee cup, but that is an interesting handle on that one.

They have no idea what we have to go through to get a gun. I seen on face book where one of them said you don’t need an AR15 for hunting and said you need one of these rifles. She had a picture of an M1 Grand that I was told in the service that it would go through 8 trees and kill the enemy behind it with the ammo we used.

A .30-06 will not go through 8 trees. Not real trees, anyway. It is a powerful round, but not that powerful. I agree that the anti-2A folks live in ignorance, though. I love my .30-06 rifles, but I’ve noticed that while my anti-2A relatives break out in hives over AR-15s, they think an M1 Garand is a reasonable rifle to own. They seem to have no concept of just how dangerous an M1 could be in the wrong hands, or how effective it can be in the right hands. But grandpa had one, and it has a walnut stock, so that makes it ok, I guess?

I don’t know if it would make a difference but we shot armor piercing bullets.

That probably does make a difference!

I would really like to have an M1 Garand.
One of the best firearms ever made.
And it does what it was designed to do very well…

Yea I’ve seen those kiosks all over California! I went up to one to inquire about a free gun, but it was adult toys they were handing out! Even to children!

And here I am waiting in line checking out a book at my local library :man_shrugging:t4:
See how easy it is to buy a gun?

Oh, that’s extremely savvy, Matt, what with all those boating accidents and people losing ALL their own guns, rifles, shotguns, suppressors, and machine guns.
