Home alone-home defense is a Moral Imperative.
Whether it’s paint cans or marbles on the floor,
he’s a hero of the Magyver caliber.
Isn’t this guy the Home Alone Kid, all growed up? LOL

FYI Home Alone, best Christmas movie next to Die Hard!
If it weren’t for Brandon it would be A Wonderful Life!

I have always loved the Home Alone series of Movies (until the 4th one…).

I think every kid has imagined how they would ward off home intruders. Unfortunately, you normally don’t know when they are going to come as Kevin did. But, even now as adults, we do the same thing and prepare. We just don’t use paint cans and glass ornaments.

I will say, the electrically charged sink in the 1st movie is my favorite trap! haha

The kid went to great lengths to fulfill his duty to retreat.

A duty to retreat , in its most extreme form, states that a person who is under an imminent threat of personal harm must make a reasonable effort to avoid confrontation, either by de-escalation or an attempt to leave the area in which the threat is occurring. The use of deadly force should be the last option.

This kid had aptitude with improvised weapons. I hope Navy Seals and Army Rangers recruits are using the movie for training.

It amazes me that he did not call the cops in the first place! But since it is a movie and the actors have a script to follow it is what it is. A glowing hot doorknob should be an easy spot too!
