I suggest suspenders that clip under the belt. I’ve been wearing Dickie’s suspenders over a wife-beater undershirt and under my usual outer shirt for years. I don’t have to cinch my belt so tight it damages my kidneys and it works equally well with any size pistol IWB or OWB.
