This is why the Justice Department has to be reined in. A political appointee becomes the arbiter of fact. The law is the law is the law ad infinitum. With a political appointee be being able to say nope we aren’t to charge anyone the law then becomes a joke, that is far to much power. I’m starting to believe that the Justice Department needs to become the enforcement arm of the Supreme Court.
