Happy Labor Day to everyone.
I’m spending my Labor Day being on the road for at least 5 hours coming back from a conference this afternoon. I say at least because who knows what traffic will be like when we leave.
Happy Labour to all
Not laboring…at home, cooked out Friday, went to a concert Saturday, chores yesterday…reading a book and relaxing today. (I’d go to the range, but then I’d have to clean my guns and that’s too much like “labor”)
Happy Labor Day Everyone.
Went to range Saturday, cleaned guns yesterday and relaxing today.
12 hours on the road to MO.
Picked up my new Glock G19 and my new driver’s license, shot some with my hubby and granddaughter.
Took a walk with the great grandbaby through our woods and up on the pasture to see the new foal, then over to the boneyard (I swear that child is going to end up in forensic science! )
Watched some movies with the hubby, played with the kittens, slept.
Now I’m 7 hours into a 12 hour drive back to MI.
Hey! I didn’t know they allowed horse porn here! and young ones at that!
He’s going to be herding them all around before long. Sounds like the best of weekends.
Well so far nobody’s kick me out for posting pictures of the horses in my pasture. And the great grandbaby with the forensic interest is a redheaded girl.
Hey totally works for me, I’d love to see the growing up story of that youngster. And I’m talking about a natural interest in your horse. As far as photos of the grand-kids that’s reasonably and understandably private and none of my business here on the web. But you can talk it up all you want… I can’t begin to imagine the sharpshooter who might be brought to the world with granpappy and granmama like you folk.
@Zee That foal looks way to happy with the world!
It was the Saturday I didn’t get on Saturday! Breakfast out with family and the rest of the day actually relaxing.
I played Minecraft all weekend. It was awesome!
You would like a couple of the guys at work - that’s their idea of a great weekend too!
A couple years ago I stopped making excuses for wanting to sit around all day playing video games in my spare time. Best decision I ever made.
My daughter and I went to the range Sunday morning. I worked on trigger control and grouping, and I think I made some progress. It had been a while for her, so she started out with her SR 22 to warm up. Once she was loosened up she brought out her PK .380. We are coming to the conclusion that the .380 just isn’t for her. Compared to the 380 targets, her groups shrank by half when firing my larger 9mm.
Time to go gun shopping!
I’ve found that I shoot better with a slightly larger handgun. The caliber didn’t matter as much as the size of the handgun.
Understood. My Security 9 is only slightly larger than her PK380, less than 1/4" in height and maybe 3 /4" longer. But it feels completely different, and that may be the key.
I’m glad she was able to see there was an issue and will be finding one that fits for her.
I’ve shot guns that are almost the exact same size and one I shoot much worse (it’s a Glock) than I shoot the other (a Sig). Different setups for different people - definitely makes a huge difference!
