Feb. 14,1929, 10:30 am. Four men associated with Al Capone fired 70 rounds from Thompson machine guns (known as Tommy Guns) and killed seven rival gang members. Witnesses said some of the shooters were dressed as cops. Nobody was ever prosecuted for the crime.

Today is St Valentines Day. It is a day set aside in memory of early century Christians slaughtered for their faith. It’s unsure if it was one or more with that surname. Strange day to celebrate the Cupidized Love bird day. But I try to make it special for my sweerheart.
