Halloween Kills

So now not only will I carve a large pumpkin for Halloween but I will also carve one for Thanksgiving. This may be the last year for pumpkin pie during the holidays. A ban seems eminent.

For what it’s worth, this forum is the only place I’ve seen anything about pumpkins and climate change

And if nobody buys this BS they’ll just say pumpkins are racist

When these people open their mouths they produce too much methane and bull :poop:.

Will you at least offset the footprint of your pumpkin on climate by eating a micro turkey?

And the news story? Link in the Blaze story https://www.cnn.com/videos/us/2023/10/31/pumpkin-disposal-cprog-orig-fj.cnn

It also has a link to a psycho environmental group that believes pumpkins are causing “climate change”, and CNN reported their claim as fact.

I just dispatched one of those micro turkeys this evening. I had not seen one (or evidence of one) in my house for a long time. Those buggers are fast, but not as fast as my .22LR. :sunglasses: J/K, it smashed it.

I guess to be more clear, the link to Blaze posted to this forum remains the only place I have seen or heard anything about pumpkins and climate change

But, I don’t watch CNN

Well, rather than dismiss it, understand that you have now learned more about the pervasiveness of the MSM’s “climate change” narrative, that even pumpkins have in the past several years or more been labeled as part of the problem.

I have a question. So I agree, all the dead pumpkins produce CO2 and methane as they are thrown out and rot. But didn’t GROWING all those pumpkins pull JUST AS MUCH CO2 out of the atmosphere in the first place? Balance the freaking equation.

EV’s, wind farms, and impossible meat balance it all out.:grinning:

That was quite funny!

That’s a good question. I don’t know how that works on the CO2. Might just be an equal equation?

I will wager that growing them does not consume any methane though.

I guess there are only two solutions to this then, do not grow them or burn them for fuel. :sunglasses: Oh, wait, the second option will emit C02. I guess we should not grow them, then. Oh wait, we emit C02, also. Option one does not seem like such a good an idea after all, but I do believe it is a good option to use on the “climate change” believers. I wonder if they would agree.

I think (I’m not a computer expert) it’s because these forums are not A.I. generated. The information here is posted in good faith by people who are respectful and decent. Minor exaggerations and jokes/parody aside it is a comfortable setting in which to exchange thoughts, discuss, and laugh at the nonsense of today’s news.
