You have an outstanding youngster there with the ability to think for herself and make up her own mind. Hopefully, she can teach her friends how to do that. Kudos to you for being there for her.

I never actually thought of it that way. You in the Air Force and your daughter becoming a pilot. My time in the Navy as an FMF Corpsman and my daughter is about to become a Doctor. Interesting similarity.

My wife is ‘into’ wheelguns, her favorites being a minty S&W Model 12 and an S&W 351PD.
My (3) daughters are into autos, so that’s what I bought them. The oldest one has a G42, the middle one an S&W M&P .380, and the youngest an S&W M&P .22 Compact.

I agree. Bad habits are sometimes hard to break. Initial assessment & proper training for beginners is less stressful than attempting to re-train a shooter that had been impropriety trained, for sure.
