That’s super grey, a backpack? Not worth it, sure maybe gonna scare the thug straight, but at what personal cost?
Now a backpack that you know contains a firearm?
First why’d you leave a gun in your bag in your car?
Second, yes, stopping the thief before they access that gun and potentially cause harm with it would in my opinion justify that.

Now to get machine guns back!
Were it not for the NFA machine guns would still be in common use.
