Florida and Hawaii are very much the same … and altogether different. Florida’s population is 22 million, and the Department of State claims 633 miles of public beaches. Florida boasts a pro-Second Amendment governor and a healthy, conservative outlook for business. Hawaii has only 1.5 million inhabitants and 185 miles of “sandy shoreline.” The Aloha State is solidly Democrat.
