Careful what you wish for. I’m pretty confident when we get into real food shortages that the government will not hesitate to nationalize all the land independent farmers own and give it to the big farming corporations so they can provide enough food to keep the DC elites and their buddies well fed. The rest of us can wait in line for whatever scraps are left over.

Supposedly there is a Constitution restricting what the gubment can do. You can never tell which way an activist group will go but I still hold out a minor hope that some of them would stand up against such a land grab from US citizens.
