I just saw a video on Tucker about Argentina and I couldn’t help but post this article. Fidel Castro lives!

I pictures lines similar to what the soviet union had! And wonder how long before these stores fold due to lack of funding.

“The city of Chicago is reimagining the role government can play in our lives by exploring a public option for grocery stores”

Nope No reimagination going on at all. It’s been imagined and implemented before, just open a history book. It ends with thousand/millions dead.

‘Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it.’

Socialism. Government run grocery stores. What could possibly go wrong?

Unfortunately, a significant number of Americans believe that government bureaucrats are experts in all things – like running a grocery store. And believe that government can do a better job than the private sector. That government-run grocery store won’t be like the DMV with endless lines and surly clerks who hate their jobs. Instead, it will offer lower prices, feature sleek stores with a vast diversity of product on its shelves, and always well stocked.

I’m thinking it’ll be designed on the Soviet model. 50,000 Sq. Ft, 30 rows of shelves, all empty except 1/2 of a row containing stale bread with an expiration date 4 months out of date and 3,000 people lined up outside in the rain with no money…

The few items that might be found on the shelves are the things the Government wants you to eat/drink. Packaged the way the Government wants it packaged, Priced the way the Government wants it Priced. Limited in quantity by the Government so you can not stock pile. The Government monitors who bought what and how much, on which day of the week and at what time of day… Need I go On?

No My friend, you may be all to accurate.

Saw Dust bread for everyone!
I picture large raised funeral pyres on Chicago’s
waterfronts for the rest of the Populas to see.
Bread lines, Rations, State approved clothing
Little badges for your chest, each color and shape signifies
your race, standing in the community, profitability etc.
Oh man, Hitler wears New Robes and the Sheep refuse to see it.
Amazing.

Have to disagree, it’s the one place that theft will be intolerable. You don’t think they gave the IRS agents guns to insure I pay my taxes? Not a chance! It will be to protect their own investment. It’s going to be a government employee working behind that counter!
You spit in that cashier’s eye, and they will shoot you dead on the spot!
Tell me, when was the last time you told a DMV clerk to piss off, to their face. Now try that at Burger King!

We’re coming to the end of the line, if we’re not careful!

They would steal the government food first then sell it on the street.
Chicago is the city that ‘asks’ criminals not to shoot each other

As I’ve said before; I’m out in the country a little ways and have always had a garden of some kind. Never grew very much just enough to knock down the food bill some. I’ve been researching food shortages for ‘24 and it’s not looking good. Tops of the list is beef, wheat, rice, and cooking oils. I’m preparing the garden soil now and I’m going to learn to can my own food like my mamaw.

I have said before that large cities like NYC, LA, Chicago, etc WILL run out of food in a single day maybe two tops. Where do you think all those hungry ppl will go. They will come out in hordes looking for food and will take whatever food you have. Better learn how to save seeds and gardening. Don’t use hybrid seeds because you won’t get the same taste, texture and possibly nor nutrition from the original.

I’m buying more ammo soon.

PS another top 10 shortage for next year is wet pet food.

Or they may become food themselves.

A thought just hit me. All this farm land china is buying up here in the USA? I think they are doing it because all their farm land is crap from pollution and mismanagement. They will be sending all that out back to China to feed themselves and we will be phucked! Now if only our gubment had the balls to nationalize all that land back to our citizens……but then Hunter and the big guy wouldn’t be millionaires.

I used to wonder how all these foreign countries could get away with what they do here in America. The demo-crap leadership is the answer.

Sooo…are they going to have armed guards at these stores? If so, doesn’t that indicate that they may want to address their crime problem first? If not, how long do they think these stores will last?
