Good info from USCCA, carry to vote?

I didn’t know if it was legal to CC to go vote. As always know your state’s laws. I vote at a state ag building therefore I need to look this up.

To get to the heart of it. Here is an article explaining KY prohibited places. Scroll to the bottom to see where you can. Notice the VERY LAST place where you can.

In Oregon, we vote by mail “meaning that our votes aren’t counted”.

Hmm, in Minnesota we can vote by mail too but we can then also track it to make sure it gets counted.

Doesn’t mean the state still can’t designate areas (for example the sheriff’s office) or places where the feds say it’s illegal. I vote at a state agricultural building. If that building is off limits to carry then I can’t and can be arrested and charged.

A lot depends on who you are talking to and how you communicate to the LEO. If for example you start off with calling the LEO filth and pigger; don’t expect to be heard. On the other hand if you’re just slightly respectful, you could then be allowed to put it up and get back in line.

I remember back in the day when bars couldn’t be opened on election day. Yes, that was in Hellinois.

Thought I would revive this thread with this story out of FLA. I dont know how this dummy wasn’t shot. Raising a machete at seniors and people standing in line to vote, WTF!
.

One must be a really special kind of stupid to try something like that. As you say, he’s lucky he wasn’t escorted away with an extra hole or two

A young Florida Man in the making right there.

I almost accidentally broke the law yesterday, which is a Florida law I can’t stand. I was halfway between the truck and the polling place still armed when I remembered, and had to go back to disarm in the truck, thus subjecting my gun to the possibility of getting stolen. And, the people in the voting office were no more safe because my mean little gun was sitting in the truck.
