# Glock 43x sights

I know this is about sights. I cannot help myself. I seen this and thought it looked pretty sweet ..

Just a 43, not 43x, but I did have to do an initial adjustment out of the box. Kept the alignment ever since. Going on 3 years and thousands of rounds.
What issue are you having? If alignment shifts after setting it, check that the front sight is straight and tight. Then mark both sights using a pen mark on pieces of tape. If either one moves, then contact Glock. Maybe an issue with the thread (front) or dovetail (rear) being loose.

At an indoor range, I put about 90 rounds down range, finding that ADS the gun would shoot to the right, even while I was sighting on bullseye

Are you left handed?
They are adjustable in that a sight pusher or a carefully implemented hammer/punch can drift the rear sight for windage
What size group were you able to get and at what distance?

IDK I would have someone else shoot it or shoot with other hand before changing or adjusting sights

My old eyes just didn’t work well with the stock sights, so I swapped thm out with an xs big dot. Although I primarily rely on an optic, the xs big dot is a great backup. It’s very easy to pick up and put on target.

They’ll work but they suck. I don’t trust plastic sights. I like the idea of being able to rack the slide on my belt if necessary, plastic is much more likely to break and drift.
That said you could run them for a month or so however long until you’re ready to swap.
There are guys saying they’ve run them for years no issues
The other benefit is Glock sites can be really affordable and easy to install compared to other modems like M&P. I use Ameriglo Spartans on my 43X. $60 when I bought them (though a sight pusher and Glock front site tool cost me a bit).

I have come to see this differently over the years.
I get where you are coming from, you don’t want people who haven’t learned fully how to shoot, to be adjusting sights to compensate for milking/slapping/etc the trigger.
But at the same time, mass produced carry/duty guns aren’t _always_ zero’d dead on from the factory, and to cut to the chase…_it needs to be zero’d to the person carrying it, not to anybody else_
If a person can shoot a tight group with it, and can keep an appropriate size group based on size and distance, and it’s consistently off…and a sight adjustment puts it on target…put it on target.
I for example have had a lot of training including professionally and from big name BTDT military, LEO, and competition guys…I drift my Glock sights to the side to adjust windage and still put most shots offhand with bulk ammo into a 6" circle at 25 yards group dead centered, with irons. I don’t care if the gun is zero’d to someone else, it’s zero’d to me.
So when someone asks a question like OP I am most interested in their group size vs distance to see what’s up…JMO

The 43x is a thin gun with a fairly hefty trigger. I would bet it’s you.
I shot left a lot with mine at first. It was the first gun I changed the sights on so I was messing around with the sights. Truth be told the sights were center I just sucked.
The trigger gets better with time too. I’d do some dry Fire at home before the next range trip. Maybe even just rack the slide and pull the trigger a bunch of times at home. The trigger gets better and you learn the trigger.
During range trip, Get some snap caps and randomly put them in a mag with live rounds and see if your jerking the gun at all.
I LOVE my 43x, but it’s a smaller gun. I shoot my 19x better for sure. One of those things we compromise to make something easier to carry.

I have not really had a problem with Factory sights but getting older has its problem lol. So I switched to Tritium’s They made a difference for me in lower light situations
