Gabbard Flips On Section 702

Speaker Johnson sold us out on the secret courts and spying, too.

The Patriot Act, one of the absolute worst thing any politician has ever stuffed up our behinds. Sadly it was done by a Republican (RINO) administration.

When you say us as in “ us out on the secret courts and spying, too.” Do you mean non-U.S. people located outside the United States?

I’m sure that’s the Only group that has ever had a warrant issued against them out of the FISA Court…

Well, yeah, you know our fit, illustrious, efficient little government would never sell us out on anything.

I like gabby on some things but do not agree with her and the other rinos on this one.

I dont totally trust her but unfortunately not my call

I know what you mean. I don’t take the article to be about Gabby. I take it to be about Section 702.

The whole patriot act should be removed. I want national security but not this way.

Hasn’t the patriot act expired.

Gotta Love AI…
Some of its key provisions expired in 2015 due to a Senate stalemate, and efforts to reauthorize it have since faced challenges. While certain aspects of the Act were reauthorized over the years, the core provisions that significantly expanded government surveillance powers are no longer in effect

Nothing totally expires in .gov. they may rename it, etc but its like taxes. Once we are blessed with them, we die wit them

I would be very surprised if this is actually the case. From the limited times I have tried to use it I find that AI is about as biased as the worthless mainstream media.

Hopefully Gabbard is doing what all the other nominees always do by saying what they need to say to get nominated and then doing the opposite. But I’m not holding my breath that the new administration will actually stand up to the Military Industrial/Intelligence Complex. People that truly threaten that power dynamic tend to have significantly reduced life expectancies.

The FISA courts, for some reason, are the darling of all that is DC. They really like the ability to charge and get warrants in secret. I imagine that can result in Arrests in secret, Confinement in secret and well other terrible things in secret…

Agree. Once politicians give themselves some power they are very reluctant to give it up. Even if they campaign on promises of getting rid of those extra powers.

The challenge is we can not get national security with ways we do not want. I don’t think we as a nation will ever agree on that. What ways do you want national security?

National security?

Criminals run the entirety of the machinery of government.

The Southen Border is wide open. Literally anyone can walk right through uncontested.

USA is the biggest child sex and human trafficking org in the world.

Trillions of our dollars missing or stolen by the Parasite Class.

Endless wars – UNCONSTITUTIONAL UNDECLARED wars all over the world.

Police violence rampant and out of control on the general population.

Rogue federal agencies roaming about killing citizens over legal firearms, dealing drugs, lying under oath, etc.

I think your “national security” is a transparent farce. A joke at best.

Keep screaming and voting for your government to keep doing for you – and you’ll get it.

“Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

― Benjamin Franklin

When your Parasitic masters want you – they’ll come get you. Just like that.

See how safe and secure they are?!

If we all loved each other those things wouldn’t happen. See how safe and secure we are.

I dont know what the answer is. All programs , laws. Etc start out with good intentions but soon get abused.

Wasn’t it the FISA court that allowed the FBI to spy on Trump?
