First time handgun owner struggling to decide on a Glock

You are correct! The Glock 44 is chambered in .22LR - I previously errored; You missed nothing. I also own this G44 and find it a useful range gun, tacking the target. :bullseye:

And then you introduce the VP9 CC

I have 5 Glocks (yeah, I love the guns) and my EDC is a model 33, 357 Sig. I just like the size and how it conceals/handles. I carry it at the 3 O’clock position in a holster. I dress around the gun and even in warm weather just wear a button down shirt untucked. Nobody ever knows I am carrying a weapon.

If you shoot the Glock well consistently then go with the Glock 43x or 48.. I own and shoot Glock 19s but that model is now considered large and heavy. Too big and heavy for me to carry. Everyone should own a G19 too. Try the Sig P365. It is a nice carry firearm. Lots of choices but if you shoot one well go with that one.

Yay! Congrats! This Ruger fanboy is happy and jealous (RXM is not CA compliant). Give us a range report.

Do not worry about the manufacturer and model. Just go to a range and put lead though targets by borrowing different guns. Then make your decision.

Very KOOL!! Congrats!! Now the hunt for a great holster!

Luckily most holsters for G19 fit the RXM.

Yes, you’re right, Axms shouldn’t no issues for his RXM. hopefully he’ll read our conversation here before he puts a new post “Struggling to find a holster for Ruger AXM”.

Trying to figure out a holster for someone is worse than trying to figure out a gun.

If I could sell back all the holsters I bought and dont use, I might be able to retire sooner than expected

@Axms History ignored is history repeated :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Totally agree but unfortunately, holsters are harder to buy cuz of body style, draw style, etc.

He’s just gonna have to learn like the rest of us :joy:

We still dont learn. Atleast i dont. I got a OWB for the RXM coming and another IWB for my shield9 coming.

Ill learn someday

Good brand, cool that it’s a decent length barrel. Looks like it ought be fairly accurate as well.
