Firearm parking lot transactions

[https://www.cnn.com/2020/04/11/us/gun-retailers-pandemic-atf-trnd/index.html]( Gun retailers can operate in their parking lots during the pandemic, ATF says)

Does this make anyone more or less comfortable from a Corona or general safety standpoint?

The local Pawn and Gun did that right before they closed their doors. The line was over 1000 feet long. They sold just about every gun in the store in two days. It was impressive.

As long as they are controlling access to the firearms (aka have most of them locked in the store, only a few outside) I think its fine. However, having a buffet line of guns outside seems like asking for trouble.

I’m not sure it makes much of a difference as long as they are “social distancing” and keeping the weapons, employees and customers secure.

Locally they are doing sales and transfer by appointment only to ensure social distancing.

Try to imagine my expression when a guy picks up one of my for sale items and starts spraying it with Lysol…
