Now consider many states recognize each other’s CCL. My KY CCDW is recognized in TN. I’m strapped whenever I go to TN and I don’t worry about it.

Are these States equal wrt duty to retreat? Inform? Castle Doctrine? Devil is in the details!

KY is stand your ground, castle doctrine which extends to your car. I would have to research some but I don’t think KY has a duty to inform. Probably in your best interest to tell the LEO but I don’t think it’s mandatory. I think TN is the same.

reprocity is not written in stone it does change . so I use the list on my states dps site as well as the map provided by USCCA for reference wnen-ever travelling

There is a provision now in Illinois for fire arms to be removed from anyone who has a Restraining order against them, presumably to save the spouse from Violence. I think this provision/law is reasonable, providing the law also says once the OOP is vacated the fire arms are returned within 30 days and the City, county, State owes the restrained for say $200/day for every day beyond the 30 days they hols his/her fire arms, increasing to $400/day after 60 days and is enforceable. Call me paranoid, but I know how the bureaucrats operate and this provision is required IMHO.

you can’t honestly believe that once the forearms have been seized and held that they would be returned. the objective the devils-rats seek is dis-arming the citizenship most likely they will be conveniently “lost” or stolen from the evidence room like what our city PD has happen all the time ; drugs, guns ,money , precious metals all somehow vanish with no trail

That’s been a law everywhere for years as far as I know, but there’s one in a few states that says just a few people can say your nuts and shouldn’t have guns and they can come and take them
I’m not saying it’s always a permanent thing but that’s the rub you have to get the dam things back by proving to “ them “ you ain’t crazy so now you probably have a blemish of some kind on your Record.
