Oh I get it. I said open carrying is using a.gun responsibly. When I meant to say it is metaphorically using a gun responsibly or it is there to be used responsibly and @Dave17 corrected me.

Washington Gun Law atty William Kirk said that by the time he got his video made and posted, the DOJ would probably have already filed an appeal, complete with emergency stay. Forget machine guns, let us all go get the NFA removed. Then we could protect what we have left of our hearing.

Biden has let 12million military age men walk across our border since 2020.
Does that bother anybody besides me that there are more than 4x that number of illegals in the US now, from over 100 countries, including dozens which want our country gone?

That was a question I asked my instructor for my CCW. My state has open carry without a permit and CCW with a permit. I was told that if you open carry the entire gun/holster had to be in clear view and a CCW had to be completely hidden. If carrying open with a shirt covering half of the gun/holster you could be charged with brandishing. That is why I never open carry, but it does seem a little ridiculous.

I don’t know what state you’re from but I am pretty sure if you have a CCW permit you can open carry or conceal carry.

The instructor said that with a shirt covering part of the firearm I could be considered to be carrying concealed. Therefore, by showing part of it, it could be considered brandishing. I didn’t understand it but that is what he said. I figured, at the time, if both were legal then halfway in between would be legal. By the way, I’m in NC.

The thing is if you have a CCW Permit. I think you misunderstood. He might have been saying if you don’t have a permit you can’t carry partially concealed.

In a way he was I think but at the same time, it sounds like I can’t carry partially open either. I think if open is already legal and you have a CCW also then in between should be legal. Small gripe but it still doesn’t make sense to me.
