Ahhh!!! I read it before you deleted it. I was an NRA member and my (brand new) wife bought me a Life membership in 1990 while I was deployed to the Gulf War. Somehow 10 years later my life membership “expired” but I had moved to Pearl Harbor, HI and was constantly underway so I was never able to follow up on it. I never bothered after that. Now I don’t need the bother of ANOTHER blown up e-mail box.

I really think you’re entitled to the promise to me Life Member means Life Member. Now they play with words and they add qualifiers. “Benefactor Life Member” etc. it’s just another way to get into a persons checking account in my view.
